Plugyy supports companies, organisations and cities in their journey toward Net-Zero and E-Mobility.

We work with organisations from the public and private sectors to help develop and deliver their journey to net-zero and e-mobility, from strategic advisory and feasibility work, through delivery and installation to operations & management.

We support a range of organisations including commercial & industrial (C&I), property developers, building and car park owners, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and construction companies, Facility Management (FM) companies, TPIs, Local Authorities, hospitals, universities and others.

The successful candidate will work to expand our operations within the private and public sectors by securing customers for energy efficiency projects, solutions and services including electric mobility and EV charging infrastructure (both AC and DC), Solar PV, Heat De-carbonisation and Net Zero strategy advisory work.

You will be responsible for originating and developing opportunities and projects and will be required to support the projects through the life cycle from the initial origination through to construction and operations.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience and success within a sales-based position and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with varied stakeholders at senior level. It would be advantageous if you have experience and existing relationships within the C&I and M&E space and/or Public Sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management and the origination of the company pipeline of Solar PV, EV Charging and Heat Pump projects with a focus on the UK market

  • Effectively and professionally develop and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including in the public sector.

  • Build new relationships within the private sector (C&I, M&E and others), Local Authorities and delivery partners involved enabling the company to increase its portfolio

  • Drives the advancement of each project opportunity by leading all necessary steps in the process (both internal and external)

  • Ensures economic viability of projects/pipeline opportunities

  • Originate and manage TPI relationships for new project opportunities

  • Keeps himself/herself fully informed on key market developments and industry news/events to quickly identify business opportunities and regulatory changes.


  • Seasoned professional in business and project development in the areas of Solar PV, EV Charging, Heat Pumps.

  • Proven experience and strong network in the UK energy solution space, the C&I and M&E sectors.

  • Strong communication skills: able to communicate clearly, effectively and to the point at top executive and director level.

  • Team-player and desire to influence and grow professionally in a fast moving and growing start-up environment

  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.

  • Strong project management capabilities: being able to coordinate internal and external stakeholders.

  • Used to working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines in a demanding environment.

  • Self-starter and able to work independently

  • Proficiency in standard MS packages and able to use CRM packages/software.

  • Fluent in English.
